Refund Policy

1. 30-day money-back guarantee

Every BoundReady purchase, including Book Pass and Author Lifetime (and the Founders Lifetime offer), comes with a 30-day money-back guarantee. If you ask within 30 days of the purchase date, we refund the full amount you paid, including any tax charged.

Formatting, previews and the Publish-Ready Check are free, so you can see your book finished and checked before you pay. We still want you to be happy after you buy.

2. How to ask for a refund

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. You can ask for a refund in either of these ways:

• Through Paddle: use the link in your Paddle receipt email, or look up your order at paddle.net and choose to request a refund.
• By email: write to support@boundready.com from the address you used to buy, and include your order number if you have it. We will arrange the refund with Paddle.

A short note about what didn’t work is welcome, because it helps us improve, but it is not required.

3. How refunds are paid

Paddle refunds the money to your original payment method. How quickly it appears on your statement depends on your bank or card issuer, and usually takes 5 to 10 business days. If the purchase was made in another currency, the amount you receive may differ slightly because of exchange rates.

4. After a refund

• The refunded plan or Book Pass is cancelled, and watermark-free exports covered by it stop being available. Your account, your books and your settings stay, so you can keep using the free features.
• Please don’t publish files exported under a purchase you have had refunded.
• The guarantee is for people who tried BoundReady and found it wasn’t for them. We may decline repeated refund requests that look like an attempt to get paid files for free.
• If you have a problem with a charge, please contact us before opening a dispute with your bank. We can usually fix it faster.

5. Your statutory rights

This policy adds to, and does not limit, your rights under consumer protection law. If you are a consumer in the European Union or the United Kingdom, you have a legal right to withdraw from a purchase of digital content within 14 days. When you start downloading your files, you ask for immediate delivery and acknowledge that this legal withdrawal right ends at that point. Our 30-day guarantee still applies, so in practice you can always ask for a refund within 30 days.
